Twitter Erupts After Lakers Dominate Game 2

2 Min Read

You never really know what to expect in the NBA playoffs. In Game 1, it was the Lakers who looked rough. Anthony Davis was off and the supporting cast was failing to hit their shots.

In Game 2, the Blazers (who are normally impossible to stop on offense) scored just 88 points on 40% shooting in the 111-88 loss.

But, of course, the story of the night was the dominance by L.A. who deserve credit for their play on both ends of the floor. The defense was stifling and definitely played a hand in Portland’s poor shooting night. Meanwhile, the Lakers’ role players came alive and dropped a combined 70 points.

Here are some of the best fan reactions from the night:

Nobody should have expected the Lakers to go quietly. They deserve major props for their response. And in a game where LeBron scored just 10 points, it was an impressive all-around effort.

As for Portland, it’s not over yet. As bad as this game was, the series is still tied at 1-1. With some rest and some more time to think, they could easily come roaring back on Saturday.

Either way, it will be an epic show to behold.
