Shannon Sharpe was not a happy man. The former NFL star expressed his displeasure when one of the fans went overboard using old clips of Undisputed to irritate the player-turned-analyst.

“I’m leaving social media. Y’all stay bothering me,” Sharpe wrote, responding to one of the clips that saw him arguing with Skip Bayless. Only this time, the fan put it out of context.

Earlier, Sharpe bid a tearful adieu to the show after being part of it for seven years. He reached a buyout agreement with Fox Sports and wrapped up his longtime run after the 2023 NBA Finals.

While there was no concrete reason as to why Sharpe left the show, many believed that it was Skip Bayless and his comments that caused the exit.

One of the sources also added that Bayless’ constant calling out of LeBron James was a factor. “Another element that seemed to bleed over between the two was that Sharpe is close with LeBron James, whose performance Bayless has been a hard grader of over the years.”

Now, the former Super Bowl champion continues to enthrall the fans with his Club Shay Shay podcast.

Despite Their Tense Relationship, Shannon Sharpe Had An Emotional Moment With Skip Bayless

It was all bygones be bygones on Shannon Sharpe’s last day with Skip Bayless on Undisputed, as both hosts were emotional.

“I’ll never forget what you did for me,” Sharpe said, breaking down. “I am here because of you. You have allowed me to share the stage with you.”

“You’ve allowed me to share the platform. I will cry in the car, I’m not gonna cry now. The opportunity that you gave me, to become what I became, I’m forever indebted to you. You helped me grow more than you ever know.”

“All I ask is when you lay your head on your pillow at night, know I gave you everything I had.” To which Bayless had an equally lavish response: “The greatest compliment I can give you is you were a worthy adversary.”

Over the seasons, the duo has had their rows, but it shows the character on both their parts to move on amicably. Sharpe’s next move remains to be seen
