The Golden State Warriors were outplayed by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 as the defending champions of the league go down 2-1 in the series.
Speaking of Game 3, an NBA fan on Twitter broke down how Dennis Schroder countered Steve Kerr’s perfect play for Klay Thompson with his off-the-ball movement.

When Kerr called the same play in Game 2, Rui Hachimura was left trailing Thompson. The Warriors guard then went on to hit an open three-pointer.
But in Game 3, Schroder and the Lakers were ready for this play and countered it with perfection. The presence of Anthony Davis also played a role in Thompson getting swamped, but initially, it was all Schroder’s efforts that outsmarted Kerr and the Warriors.
Dennis Schroder Reveals How LeBron James Inspires The Lakers With His Hustle
For every team that LeBron James has played in the NBA, he has always been involved in the majority of the offense for his team. But this season, LeBron has seemingly taken a backseat and allowed other players to shine instead.
Apart from that, Schroder revealed James is still inspiring the team with his hustle. Considering James is 38 years old, it’s truly magnificent to think that the King is leading the team by example.
“Making hustle plays like that. Putting everything on the line. Seeing him after the game really don’t have no energy no more, that’s what we need from him,” Schroder said postgame. “For our ball club, it means a lot. I think everybody in here knows we gotta do the same thing what Bron does and match it and it’s just great to see.”
The play which Schroder is talking about was when James ran into the stands in hopes of recovering the ball during Game 3.
Hustle plays can have a huge impact on the morale of the team and James has been in the league long enough to understand the importance of his team having a high morale will certainly benefit them in the longer run.
