Video: Draymond Jr. Takes Over Draymond Green’s Press Conference

The Golden State Warriors will face the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, and there’s no question that they are on a roll going into the game. They are 6-1 and are the number 2 seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors are certainly in a strong position early in the season.

The team spoke to the media ahead of the game in a presser, and that included 3-time All-Star Draymond Green. However, his son Draymond Jr. was the focus of this press conference, and in the video, we can see that he took the focus away from his father.

In the video, we see Draymond Jr. messing around near the table as his father answers some basic questions about the team. Draymond Jr. was climbing on the table, and generally looking bored at times.

We then see the father-son duo fist bump towards the end of the video, with Draymond Green commenting on his kid’s actions, stating that “This kid is incredible” and that “he just walks around here like he owns the place”. It’s clear that Draymond Jr. didn’t necessarily care about all the media presence and the cameras that were directed towards his father.

The Warriors matchup against the Pelicans tonight will be a favorable one. They will be without star Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram will be a game-time decision. With that being said, it shouldn’t be a game that they take lightly, as there is always the potential for an upset in any given game. The Golden State Warriors are top-10 in turnovers per game with 16.6 per contest, and if they cut some of them out, they’ll be an even better team.

Draymond Green has had a great year so far, and it seems as though he is enjoying basketball with the new foul-call rules. Hopefully, we see Green have a great year, and perhaps he’ll be in consideration for the DPOY award this season.
