Julius Randle was selected to the All-Star team this year, and there is no doubt that he is having a stellar season with the New York Knicks this year. As of right now, Julius Randle is averaging 24.8 PPG, 10.8 RPG, and 4.1 APG.

Even though he is an excellent player, one of Randle’s weaknesses is his 3PT shooting. He is only shooting 33.8% from the 3PT range this year, and it is clear that he isn’t the best in that department.

Despite that, Julius Randle ended up participating in the 3PT contest this year. However, he did not do well, and it seems as though that upset his son, who ended up crying while watching the contest.

Though this was not the best performance from Julius Randle, it is clear that he is still one of the best power forwards in the league. Hopefully, he ends up improving his shooting, and it’s not out of the question that Julius Randle will be back in the 3PT contest to avenge his loss. He notably shot 41.1% from 3PT range during the 2020-21 season, and if he can get back to that mark, he’ll be one of the best shooters in the league.

Julius Randle Wants To Be On Team LeBron During All-Star Weekend

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the two All-Star captains this year, and they will be selecting their teams right ahead of the game. Julius Randle previously expressed that he wants to play with LeBron James, joking that it “would be fun to do” before the superstar retires.

“I wanna play with Bron, PG, start with those two. I got a relationship with P and I never played with LeBron, so, it would be fun to do before he gets his old ass outta here.”

It will definitely be interesting to see two bruisers like LeBron James and Julius Randle on the same team. There will likely be other All-Stars that LeBron James will select before Randle, though obviously, it is not out of the question that they will end up being teammates.

The New York Knicks have been a solid team under Julius Randle’s leadership this year, and they look as though they have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs as the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference this year. He has previously stated that he wants to win a championship with the team. Hopefully, they manage to do so, and it would definitely be amazing to see Julius Randle help the team go on a deep run in the postseason.
