Stephen Curry was the man of the hour at the Golden State Warriors championship parade held in the Bay Area after the Warriors clinched their 4th championship in 8 years with the core of Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, and Coach Steve Kerr.

Curry won his first Finals MVP this season, an award that was long overdue for the talismanic shooter. His excellent scoring and all-around play helped the Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in 6 games, something that many thought they would fail to do. Even Coach Kerr didn’t come into the season expecting to hold the Larry O’Brien trophy aloft, but the Warriors achieved exactly that.

Steph’s wife, Ayesha, has always been by his side. We have seen their wonderful children at games and press conferences, but we usually don’t see Ayesha as much. The Warriors parade is where that changed, as Ayesha was in sight of everyone having the time of her life, especially indicated by this video and some pictures of their spectacular day.

It’s their championship celebration, so any Warriors player can do whatever they want as far as the fans of the tea are concerned. The team did their job on the court and brought a title back to the city, they are free to enjoy their off-season the way they want to.

If there’s a team that understands the challenge of coming back and defending your championship crown, it is this Warriors team. They will come back even better next season, so the league needs to be careful about how they prepare to make a title run.

The Warriors championship parade has been incredible, with instances like Klay Thompson being laughed at on stage by his teammates or everything Draymond said to fans of opposing teams have all become iconic internet clips, just like the clip of the Currys dancing together.
