Anthony Davis is having another rough offensive night in the first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies but is still the best defender on the court.

Davis showed off his defensive ability by sending Dillon Brooks’s shot in the opposite direction with a brutal block before Brooks got the ball again and shot an egregious airball that missed the basket by at least a foot.

Brooks has been struggling to score all series long. He has averaged 11.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on 32.5% shooting through the first three games of the series. Even in Game 4 tonight, Brooks has 6 points on 28.6% shooting at the end of the first half.

His lack of offensive ability has held the Grizz back for most of this series. If the team falls down 3-1 with a loss in Game 4, Brooks will come under serious fire for not backing up the trash-talk he aimed at LeBron James and the Lakers this series.

Will The Lakers Beat The Grizzlies In Game 4?

At the halftime mark, the Grizzlies are trailing by just two points with the score at 52-54 in the Lakers’ favor. Anthony Davis is having another nightmare offensive game, shooting 0/5 in the first half as he hasn’t found his scoring touch. LeBron James is on triple-double watch with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists to start the game. He needs to get more aggressive with scoring if he wants to get this win.

The Grizzlies are struggling against the Lakers’ defense, with none of their five starters shooting even 40% in the game. Desmond Bane is leading them in scoring in the first half with 13 points. If the Grizz can go on a run, the Lakers’ stagnant offense may not allow them to make a substantial run. Ja Morant has 7 points and is struggling to get his scoring going as well.

The Lakers already lost a double-digit lead to the Grizz in this first half, so Memphis is in a strong position to complete the comeback and tie the series at 2-2.
