The Los Angeles Clippers lost against the Golden State Warriors despite having Kawhi Leonard on the floor last Friday.

There were a lot of talking points from the Clippers’ loss, including the lack of wins since Russell Westbrook joined. But one incident from the game that went viral later was Jordan Poole faking out Kawhi Leonard and then smiling to himself.

Jordan Poole’s movement of the ball is no joke, and to see him be able to get one of the best defenders in the league to flinch like that is quite wild. And he seemingly enjoyed doing it too, with fans having some funny reactions to the entire episode as well.

“Poole be playing too much man,” one fan pointed out Jordan Poole’s tendency to try and mess around with his opponent, whoever they may be.

Another commended Kawhi Leonard for keeping his cool after the move, saying, “Boy I woulda got T’d up so fast.”

The incident reminded this fan of a play Kobe Bryant was once involved in: “Matt Barnes tried something a bit similar with Kobe on an inbound pass but it didn’t work. Kob didn’t flinch.”

Kawhi Leonard has long been thought of as one of the league’s greatest defenders, but this fan seems to think that the fear is wearing off, saying, “Ain’t no one scared of Kawhi’s defense anymore.”

And Kawhi Leonard’s unavailability has led to some increased trolling directed at him, as this tweet made clear: “Good thing Kawhi didn’t sprain his knee from this.”

The Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers seem to be trending in opposite directions at the moment. The Clippers are in free fall while the Warriors continue to rack up wins. Jordan Poole is certainly having a good time.

How Has Jordan Poole Been Performing?

The Golden State Warriors have gone on a 5-game winning streak without Stephen Curry on the floor. He is expected to return for the Los Angeles Lakers game on Sunday, but in his absence, Jordan Poole has been one of the players that have stepped up. In those 5 wins, Poole has averaged 22.2 points per game

He also has 5.6 assists and 1 steal per game to add to that. The young star may not be shooting at a high level currently, but he remains a great scoring option for the Warriors. The team is shaping up for another playoff run, and if they do make it, the Clippers are unlikely to want to see them in a series.
