Aaron Gordon was a happy man after the Denver Nuggets won their maiden NBA championship, and he took to the streets to celebrate.
In a video that’s gone viral on social media, Gordon could be seen shirtless and interacting with fans in a mini-parade. You can take a look at the celebrations below:

The Nuggets won 94-89 and Gordon had 4 points in the clash, coupled with 7 rebounds, and 1 assist. The numbers don’t tell the entire story, as he was key in the Nuggets’ defense against the formidable Heat unit.
The team will celebrate their new championship trophy with a parade and rally. It is set to begin at 10 am on Thursday at the Union Station and proceed to 17th Street to Broadway and then south all the way to Civic Center Park.
Guess, Gordon couldn’t wait till then.
Aaron Gordon Reflects On Guarding The Toughest Superstars In The Playoffs
Prior to Game 5, Gordon was seen reliving his journey to the Finals and how his defense was instrumental in the team’s progress in each round.
After Game 1, Gordon spoke on his challenging playoff duels, which include Karl-Anthony Towns (first round), Kevin Durant (second round) and LeBron James (Western Conference Finals), and now Jimmy Butler.
“Definitely gonna be sitting my rocking chair when I’m 79 or 90 years old and talking to my kids about, ‘yeah, back in the day, I locked these guys up,'” he told reporters.
Gordon was vocal throughout the lead-up to the Finals, saying it was all about being scrappy, and he put his money where his mouth was and exceeded expectations. Now only time will tell if he and the Nuggets can defend their title. For now, they rightfully deserve to celebrate.
