Kyrie Irving is no stranger to being silenced, and ESPN became the latest to put a plug on the star point guard. After leaving behind a nasty tweet on one of their posts, the network apparently hid Kyrie’s reply that directed criticism toward the media, who he blames for being misled.

“If this is True, the movie had me Complete fooled, SMH! What a scamming a** world we live in,” Irving wrote on Twitter. The reply was in response to a new story around a former NFL player and his adoptive family.

On Monday, fans around the world were shocked after hearing that former offensive lineman Michael Oher (subject of the hit movie ‘The Blind Side’) was accusing his “adoptive” parents of manipulating him into signing a contract making them his conservators.

This obviously goes against the story many fans grew up watching in the movie, and Kyrie surely isn’t the only one who feels misled about the situation. Oher, now 37, is apparently setting the record straight on what really happened with his football journey.

As for Irving, one has to wonder why his replies are being silenced. Keeping his complicated history in mind, he’s a controversial figure for sure but it seems the worst of his antics are in the past now.

Can Irving Stay Out Of Trouble This Season?

A quick look at social media will tell you that Irving will never stop speaking his mind. When it comes to voicing views and opinions, he’s never going to be shy about his beliefs and it’s no secret he resents anyone who tries to control what he does or says.

Even still, with the Mavericks, Irving has no reason to act up. He’s well-paid now, and in a situation that can lift up his career.

Unfortunately for Dallas, Irving’s unpredictability makes him uncontrollable and it seems like only a matter of time before he steps on some toes with his new organization.
