Zion Williamson is one of the best young players in the league today, and there is no questioning his dominance at the rim. He is a force of nature when he is in attack mode, and it is hard for any defense to stop him without sending multiple players at him.

There are many people who are high on Zion Williamson’s potential, and there is no doubt that he could be an MVP-level player in the future. In fact, it was previously revealed by Zion Williamson’s chef that it was the superstar’s goal to win the MVP award this year.

“Definitely getting him in tiptop shape. My boy says he wants the league MVP this year. I see it. I believe it.”

In the New Orleans Pelicans’ recent game against the Phoenix Suns, Zion Williamson received MVP chants while shooting free throws. After the game, Zion Williamson had a funny reaction to that moment, claiming that he thought to himself that he “better not miss free throw.”

“Those moments are always funny to me because I’m like, ‘man… I better make this free-throw.'”

Hopefully, we will see Zion Williamson get an MVP award in the future. He definitely has the talent to do so. The New Orleans Pelicans are currently the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. If Zion Williamson’s stats continue to improve and the team manages to keep the same positioning, it is easy to see him enter the MVP conversations in the future.

Zion Williamson Wants To Win A Championship

There is no doubt that the ultimate goal for Zion Williamson is to win a championship. Previously, he claimed that his ultimate goal with the New Orleans Pelicans was proving that he’s a winner and winning the championship.

“I want to prove that I’m a winner, it’s as simple as that. I want to win with the coach, as well as with my teammates. The ultimate goal is to win the championship. I feel like that’s what we’re all striving for. We’re hungry. Y’all saw this past year what the team did and I’m just excited to add to that.”

It remains to be seen if the New Orleans Pelicans do manage to win a championship in the future. They have the talent to do so, and their star duo of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram could certainly get them there.

Hopefully, we will see Zion Williamson continue to dominate. The New Orleans Pelicans need him at his best to get far in the playoffs, and we’ll see how he does over the course of the rest of the season.
