Time goes by a lot quicker than you think and that is especially the case in the NBA. A lot of the supposed dynasties rise and fall very quickly and only a few manage to stand the test of time.
Especially in this era of player movement, hardly anyone sticks around with a team for an extended period of time. LeBron James is the one who is widely held responsible for ushering in this era and the King has hopped around a bit during his career, from Cleveland to Miami, then back to Cleveland, and finally to Los Angeles with the Lakers.
2015-16 NBA Media Day Shows How Quickly Time Flies
With teams just having had their media days, a fan put out some images on Twitter to show just how much the league has changed in less than a decade. It is a bit crazy to see how just a small number of the stars for teams from 2015 remain on that team to this day.

You have Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton who are still on the Bucks, Joel Embiid on the Sixers, Kevin Love with the Cavaliers, Karl-Anthony Towns with the Timberwolves, Devin Booker with the Suns, and Damian Lillard on the Blazers to name some of the bigger ones.
Love aside, the rest of these guys should remain with their teams for quite a while longer. Lillard for one confirmed recently that his plan is to be a Trail Blazer for life and while he has been mocked by some sections of fans for this undying loyalty, it is admirable to see a player in this day and age decide to stick around instead of jumping ship when the going gets tough.
Kevin Durant has been seen as the polar opposite of Lillard and it is still crazy to see how the Thunder don’t have any of the 4 players from that picture still on their team. While Lillard has taken some flak for perhaps being too loyal, KD has been subjected to an awful lot more for his decision to leave the Thunder and the Warriors. The Durant disrespect has gotten to a point now where one fan was arguing that he isn’t even a legend, to which KD responded, as he never shies away from some Twitter fights. It will interesting to have a look at the pictures from the media day this year when we get to 2030 as we expect significant changes, just like in this one.
