NBA Stars React To Nate Robinson Getting Knocked Out Cold In Jake Paul Fight

In what may be the biggest sporting surprise of the year, YouTube star Jake Paul delivered a crushing right punch to finish off ex-Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson in a stunning knockout.

For those that don’t know, the fight was prompted by Robinson after Paul’s first professional win over AnEsonGib.

“I want all the smoke,” Robinson said to TMZ Sports. “I’m a top-tier athlete. You beating me would probably be the biggest accomplishment for your boxing career, or social media influencer – whatever. That’s your biggest claim to fame right now is knocking out Nate Robinson, so come do it. I’m putting my everything on the line for you. Let’s get it done. It’s that simple.”“If I get trained with somebody like a [Mike] Tyson, [Floyd] Mayweather, [Terence] Crawford, [Vasyl] Lomachenko, if I fight and I train with some of the best of the best in the world, like please, I don’t think he stands a chance.”

There was no real beef between the two, but Robinson was showing a lot of confidence leading up to fight night, something he’d obviously regret.

With the NBA world watching, he was knocked out cold midway through the second round — much to the disappointment of his peers.

Be ok Nate……come on man.

It was a pretty rough night for Robinson, for more reasons than one. It should be noted, however, that Paul had been training for the better part of a year, so it’s fair to say he was much more prepared than his competition.

Either way, it was an interesting event tonight — and one the basketball community won’t soon forget.
