Since joining the Pelicans in 2019, Brandon Ingram has been a huge bonus for the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 23-year-old swingman is following-up his first All-Star appearance with a career-high scoring average of 24 points per game in 2021. He is also putting up his best rebound and assist numbers, averaging 7.1 and 5.8 in those categories through the first 9 games.
But Ingram doesn’t plan on slowing down now. According to the young star himself, he’s got a plan to keep getting better and improving his game.
“Just bust everybody’s ass. Kill everybody in front of me. Make sure that I don’t let anybody off the hook.”

After an offseason of moves, the Pelicans have high playoff aspirations this season. Between Ingram, Zion Williamson, Steven Adams, Lonzo Ball, and Eric Bledsoe, they certainly have the depth and talent to make some waves in the West.
Nevertheless, it won’t be an easy path to victory. The young guys will have to continue to develop — starting with Ingram and Zion. We’ll see how it all works out.
