Charles Barkley Says The Milwaukee Bucks Will Win The East This Season

2 Min Read

Charles Barkley is known for making rather far-fetched and outlandish predictions, and this season is no different.

Months after betting $100K that the Portland Trail Blazers would make the Finals, he’s going with the Milwaukee Bucks to win the Eastern Conference, a rather hot take considering their competition in Brooklyn and Philadelphia.

Considering Giannis is a 2x MVP, and the Bucks have been among the best teams in the league for years, Barkley’s prediction is far from inconceivable.

Giannis is having a pretty stellar year, and the acquisition of Jrue Holiday has been a successful one for the team. Could it be possible that this is the year they finally break through the East?

Of course, if they are to get there, they’ll likely have to stave off some pretty talented competition, including a Brooklyn Nets team with three All-NBA players.

In the end, it’s hard to say for certain what the future holds in store for Milwaukee. But, as underdogs, one thing is true: it will be an uphill battle, and they’ll need the very best from Giannis and Jrue if they want any chance at victory.

It will be interesting to see if they rise to the occasion.
