This draft class has obviously received a lot of hype due to the presence of Victor Wembanyama in it. Many are high on the prospect’s potential, and a lot of people clearly believe that he is a sure-fire superstar. There’s no doubt that his combination of athleticism, length, and skill is unprecedented, and if he reaches his ceiling, he could end up being the best player in the world in the future.

There are some teams that are looking to contend immediately that have lottery picks in this year’s draft, with the Dallas Mavericks and the New Orleans Pelicans being among them. It’ll be interesting to see what trades end up happening at the NBA Draft itself, but it is bound to have some movement. The only certain thing about this season is Victor Wembanyama going No. 1, and there is no better landing spot for him than the San Antonio Spurs.
