Video Of Markieff Morris Shoving DeMarcus Cousins Surfaces After The Altercation With Nikola Jokic

Markieff Morris is currently out for the Miami Heat due to a neck injury following an altercation with Denver Nuggets Nikola Jokic. It was a dirty play from Morris that resulted in retaliation from Jokic. Footage has surfaced online, showing that this is not the first time Markieff has been involved in such an incident.

During his run with the Los Angeles Lakers last season, he was involved in an altercation with DeMarcus Cousins of the Houston Rockets. However, it is worth noting that he was not the instigator this time around.

Markieff’s attack on Jokic was unwarranted, as it could be seen as downright malicious. Jokic retaliated, and some sort of family feud has been brewing since then.

Several NBA analysts have spoken on the matter, with most crediting Jokic for standing up for himself. The incident also sparked a debate on the “toughest” NBA players right now.

Kendrick Perkins spearheaded that conversation after he listed five players he believes are the toughest in the league. It came as no surprise as he left out Jokic and the Morris brothers off the list.

Markieff has missed three games due to the injury despite his penalty for starting the altercation with Jokic was a $50,000 fine. Jokic, on the other hand, was suspended for one game without pay for retaliating.

Markieff is averaging 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in ten games off the bench. Although he’s not a top-level scorer, he spreads the floor well and has a dogged mentality on defense, which his teammates have commended often.
