The Los Angeles Lakers continued their poor run of form in the preseason. They have now lost five consecutive games and are 0-5 in the preseason so far. There is just one more game left and fans are now questioning whether the Lakers did the right thing by acquiring several veteran players in the offseason or not.

After all, the purple and gold gave up their young assets to acquire these players. Following this defeat at the hands of the Warriors, ClutchPoints posted a video on Twitter with a hilarious caption.

The camera caught LeBron James and Anthony Davis talking mid-game and CP interpreted that talk with a funny twist.

“We were gonna get Buddy and send Kuz to the Kings, but then we got Russ.”

“Wait, so what happened with Trez?”

“We sent him to Washington with Kuz for Westbrook.”

“Ahh, so what about Dennis?”

“Dennis went over there to Boston.”

Of course, fans reacted to the video posted on Twitter. While a few fans thought that this post was a bit cringe, most fans believed it was funny. Here are some of the best reactions NBA fans posted on CP’s Twitter post:

Like most fans said, it was indeed a funny interpretation of the conversation between AD and LBJ. So far the Lakers are heading towards a poor season and another super team experiment might fail for the LA Lakers.

But once again, this is just the preseason. The stats in the preseason won’t carry over to the regular season. Despite that, players like to get into the winning mindset early on. This helps in building their confidence and dominate opponents with ease.

One of the biggest issues for the team has been Russell Westbrook’s performances. He was criticized a lot by fans for turning the ball over 15 times in just two preseason games. Russ gave a hilarious response to those insults.

Moreover, he believed all he needs is a bit of time to adjust to the pace of his teammates. All things considered, the season has not even started yet, so Lakers fans there is no need to panic right now.
