Klay Thompson Announces His Return To The League: “I Am Going To Bounce Back, And That’s A Fact”

The Golden State Warriors have missed the presence of sharpshooter Klay Thompson in the last two seasons. In his absence, the franchise has struggled to stay at the top of the league, which is something Warriors fans are now accustomed to.

After a wait of two years, the Warriors guard will finally be back on the court. He is expected to play for the team in the 2021-22 season, which has injected some excitement into fans.

The ‘Splash Brothers’ – Steph Curry and Klay Thompson – will be reunited, and they have a great team built around them. But there is a bit of concern about how well will Klay play when he returns to the court.

After all, the Warriors star has missed two back-to-back seasons due to very serious injuries. While sports pundits are debating this, Klay himself is pretty confident about his return.

“Yeah, I’m balling out this season,” Klay said on his Instagram live. “By the grace of god I will be balling. Injuries are no fun, but it’s a part of sports. What can you do? …All you can do is keep moving forward for real. …I’m going to bounce back, that’s a fact. I guarantee that.”

With Klay back on the roster, the Warriors will become one of the favorites to make it out of the Western Conference in the new season. Apart from the incredible duo of Klay and Steph, the team also has Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and James Wiseman.

If the roster remains healthy throughout the year, it would be interesting to see how well the Warriors play.

Moreover, there are several rumors about the organization planning to trade for Ben Simmons to further bolster the team. In fact, recently, the Dubs were leading in odds to sign Simmons.

While at the moment, it’s nothing but rumors. If the Warriors do trade for Simmons, do you think they will become better than other teams in the Western Conference like the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns? Or are the glory days for the team over? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
