Draymond Green isn’t a scorer but is still an absolutely impactful player. He has been known as a defensive mastermind in this league for a long time, as well as being one of the best facilitators in the game this season. His ability to pass as a forward was key for the Golden State Warriors dynasty to reach the heights that it did. There is no doubt that Draymond Green has a very versatile skillset and affects the game in many ways.

There has recently been a stat that highlights just how unique Draymond Green’s skillset is. Hoop Central has recently shared that Draymond Green is the first player ever to get more total rebounds and total assists than total points.

The Golden State Warriors have been a top 5 defensive team in the league, and that is without doubt due to Draymond Green’s leadership on the court. As well as leading the team on the defensive end, Draymond Green is their main facilitator on the offensive end. His chemistry with Stephen Curry has been part of the reason Curry was able to get the scoring title, as Green instinctively knows where to find Curry for open looks.

If the Golden State Warriors make it out of the play-in game against the Memphis Grizzlies, they will face a stout Utah Jazz team with Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. While the Utah Jazz have one of the best defenses in the game, many analysts have suggested that if the Warriors make it in, there might be an upset. If that does happen, then part of it will surely be Draymond Green’s doing.
