LeBron James and Stephen Curry share a lot of similarities and recently, people have expressed their desire to see them joining forces in the next couple of years. They played together for the first time this year when they teamed up in the 2021 All-Star Game held in Atlanta.

After that game, a lot of fans started joking about Steph joining LeBron on the Lakers and things were hotter when Brian Windhorst claimed the Los Angeles Lakers superstar tried to recruit the Warriors icon during the All-Star break. Curry’s contract is expiring next year and he hasn’t signed a new one, which could open the door for LeBron and his recruiting talents. The King has always been a fan of the Chef and he’s been showing that for quite some time now.

Back in 2014, the then Miami Heat player faced a young Curry and his Warriors, who would become the biggest rivals of LBJ in the next four years. Bron was joking with Curry and Chris Bosh, calling out the point guard for tricking Mario Chalmers with three hesis.

“You gonna give my point guard three hesis? Three hesis? You a bad motherf***er!” LeBron told Curry.

At that time, Steph was already showing what he could do with the ball in his hands and the Warriors were giving flashes of the team they would later become. LeBron saw it coming and let Curry know he was a bad man. One year later, they would clash in the NBA Finals, with Curry and his Dubs beating LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers in 6 games.

They created a big rivalry that is part of the past now, as they’ve seen very friendly with each other in recent times. That’s one of the reasons people believe James actually has a chance, as tiny as it is, to lure Curry away from the Warriors.
