Giannis Antetokounmpo has made a bold revelation for the Milwaukee Bucks and their fans after he admitted the weather would have been a big problem for him coming to the league in 2013. The Greek Freak re-signed with the Bucks last season, getting the largest contract in NBA history.

That would have been completely different if it wasn’t for a “minor” detail for the forward. Last month, ahead of their trip to Tampa Bay to visit the Toronto Raptors, Giannis made a big revelation about Milwaukee, its weather, and his NBA career. Antetokounmpo said during a snowing that if that was the first team he saw coming to Milwaukee, he wouldn’t have gone to play in that city.

“I’m not going to lie, if when I came to Milwaukee, this was the first thing I saw, I wouldn’t be here,” Giannis said before accepting that this is part of the city. But it’s ok man, it’s a part of it.”

That trip to Tampa really helped Giannis realize a lot of things. He also reflected on life, saying some wise words about people and how you overcome having nobody by your side to celebrate or applaud you.

The Greek Freak and his Bucks are 2nd in the Eastern Conference right now, trying to make the leap and play in the Finals this season. Giannis is ready to compete and make a statement this season with Bucks fans excited to see what he’s bringing this campaign.
