The Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets, just like everybody expected, delivered a great game Tuesday night, with the Nets taking the win with a 124-120 final result. Steve Nash’s team bounced back after a hard-fought match against the Washington Wizards last Sunday.
They put up a show, especially in the 4th quarter, when their offense took over and finished the Clippers, one of the best defensive teams in the league. One Redditor called “xyneid” pointed out a very interesting stat comparing the Clippers duo and the Nets Big 3. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard scored 59 points on 48 shots while Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden dropped 90 points in 51 shots. That is huge, even if that takes into account one more player than the Clips.
The efficiency of the Nets’ superstars is incredible. Especially in the 4th quarter, they hardly missed and hit all of their free throws. When the games enter crunch time, the Nets will have a massive advantage.
Their defense was solid as well. If they can hold onto an average intensity, they will be incredibly difficult to beat.
K. Leonard 12-24, 1-5, 8-9, 33 pts
P. George 11-24, 3-7, 1-1, 26 pts
K. Durant 11-13, 1-1, 5-5, 28 pts
K. Irving 15-23, 6-8, 3-3, 39 pts
J. Harden 7-15, 1-6, 8-8, 23 pts
Kyrie was the best player of the game, dropping 39 on the Clippers, overshadowing the rest of the stars on the floor. It was a great game for Brooklyn and even Paul George admitted that going against the Big 3 was very difficult regardless of how great they played.

This team is still trying to develop chemistry and everything they need to compete in the postseason but seeing how great they can play some nights, the picture is very promising for Steve Nash and co.
