LeBron James Complains About The Referees Against The Warriors: “We Had Some Tough Calls Against Us In The Second Half. It Slowed The Game Down For Them.”

The Los Angeles Lakers had a very complex game against the Golden State Warriors Monday night, losing to them 115-113, getting their fourth loss of the 2020/21 NBA season. The purple and gold had a very comfortable lead at the beginning of the game but the Warriors came back from that deficit and ended up winning the game.

It was a good demonstration from the Dubs but LeBron James believed the refs could have done a better job with their calls. After the game was over, Bron claimed that the Lakers had some questionable calls against them, which benefited the Warriors by slowing down the pace of the game.

“We had some tough calls against us in the second half. It slowed the game down for them,” LeBron told reporters.

The Lakers lost a 19-point advantage in the second half of the game, with the Warriors taking home a huge win that will keep their playoffs hopes alive. The Dubs are ready to compete this season and this win is obviously a huge boost for them.

It’s unclear if the referees were responsible for the Lakers’ loss but some things need to change for the current NBA champions. LeBron had the chance to finish the game with 1.7 seconds on the clock but he missed his last shot, giving the W to the Warriors in a very hard-fought game.
