Nikola Jokic Calls LeBron James The Best Player In The NBA Following Lakers Win In Game 2

LeBron James keeps receiving big praise from his colleagues even though he is in his 17th season in the NBA and is 35 years old. The King is ready to win his fourth NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers. The purple and gold are 2-0 right now in front of the Denver Nuggets. They won a great game on Sunday night after Anthony Davis drilled a game-winning 3-pointer in front of Nikola Jokic.

Davis and Bron are doing great things for the Lakers and even Jokic can’t help but admit it. Following Game 2, the Joker talked about Davis’ shot and LeBron, calling the King the best player in the NBA. Talking about the Lakers strengths and how the Nuggets can fight against them, Jokic said:

“I mean, they have two really good really good players, they have LeBron, who is the probably best player in the league and they have AD who is the probably best scorer in the league, so I think it’s not easy to figure down. They’re really talented, we can just make them tougher, make them feel uncomfortable so to answer the question, maybe, but they’re really talented, they’re gonna find solutions so we just need to kind of stay on top and just make them uncomfortable.”

Jokic is right, the Lakers are a double-headed monster, hard to beat and a tougher challenge for them than the Jazz and the Clippers in prior rounds. The Nuggets were close to beating the Lakers until Anthony Davis made that 3-pointer. They might have figured something out for Game 3; the victory was so close for them and the Nuggets will try to win that third game to keep their hopes alive.
