Los Angeles Lakers idol Magic Johnson has weighed in on the first two episodes of Michael Jordan’s documentary ‘The Last Dance’ and the former point guard made sure to let people know we were in front of the one and only GOAT of basketball.

Magic faced Jordan and his Bulls the first time they won the NBA championship at the beginning of the 90s, so he knows what is like going against MJ and the Bulls during that time. Jordan then went on to win five more championships, becoming the best player in history for a lot of fans.

However, it seems like the younger generations don’t know about the existence or the greatness of Jordan. Johnson, who won five titles with the ‘Showtime’ Los Angeles Lakers, reminded everybody that there is nobody greater than MJ and that this docuseries helped young fans to understand how big Jordan was during his active days.

“Michael Jordan’s Last Dance was fantastic and I loved all two hours of it!! Young fans that never got to see Michael play now understand why he’s the of basketball!,” Magic tweeted out on Sunday night.

A lot has been said about who is the real GOAT in basketball. Some say it’s LeBron James, others say it’s the late Kobe Bryant, but this documentary is the biggest proof that Michael Jordan was the most iconic and impactful player of his time, and he will remain as such for many years to come.
