LeBron James Posts A Message While Watching Legendary Game 7 And Block On Andre Iguodala

LeBron James has made very impressive plays throughout his career, but there is one that stands out above the rest. Back in 2016, the King was trying to give the Cleveland Cavaliers their first NBA championship ever and he put in all the work to make that a reality. The Cavs were facing the Golden State Warriors, trying to complete the return from a 3-1 deficit.

During Game of that year’s Finals, Andre Iguodala was going for an easy layup during the last minutes of the game, when Bron made the unthinkable and blocked his shot in one of the most memorable plays in the history of the Finals. After that, the Warriors couldn’t score a single point and the Cavs took the title home after a clutch shot from Kyrie Irving.

That series, that game and that play won’t be forgotten and proof of that are all the fans that still watch them like it’s happening live. That was the case with a fan watching the game and tagging LeBron James on Instagram in the exact moment he blocked Iggy’s shot.

Bron replied to that, explaining he had no choice but to make a play. It’s still crazy how LeBron was able to do that play.

“Man!!! I had no choice but to make a play g!” he wrote.

Everybody thought Iguodala was to score and almost finish the Cavs’ hopes, but James told otherwise. Even Iguodala himself said the play was ‘dope’ a couple of years ago.

“If J.R. is not there, I’m dunking it. Well, I don’t know if I’m dunking, though, because I was about to die out there,” Iguodala said to ESPN back in 2017. “But I give him all respect. When he blocked it, I thought somebody got shot. I laugh about it all the time. People try to joke on me. I still get mentions all day from fans always talking about the block.

“I’m like, ‘Man, that s— was so dope to me, too.’ I was a fan. That s— was amazing. When he blocked it, I was like, ‘Damn, somebody got shot.’ I thought it was funny. Somebody just made a good play. What you want me to do? If you enjoy the game of basketball, you should just be like, ‘Dude made a great play. F— it.’”

That Game 7 must be one of the most entertaining and unforgettable games ever. Both teams fighting until the end, clutch shots, clutch passes and clutch blocks. It had everything, but in the end, the Cavaliers won it all, doing the impossible and getting crowned as NBA champions for the first time in history.
