Coronavirus is a threat that affects us all. Worldwide, thousands are infected, thousands have died, and thousands more are fighting for their lives in the wake of a pandemic that has the entire world shook.
With no clear answers on how to stop this thing and no way to really combat it, it’s going to take a lot of effort and time to put this thing to bed.
Fortunately, many people are doing their part contain the virus — including former NBA point guard Jeremy Lin, who actually went a little above and beyond the call of duty.
According to Dave McMenamin, he has donated a total of $300,000 to the U.S. and China to the virus relief effort.
Jeremy Lin, who already pledged $150,000 to fight the coronavirus in China, will donate an additional $150,000 to the United States Fund for UNICEF. He quoted Tupac in his announcement: "You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do what we gotta do, to survive" pic.twitter.com/IswKOsNrCj

The infamous Tupac quote seems to the heart behind his actions. He obviously is trying to help the world survive in this trying time.
And while the world will eventually move on from this whole situation, many more lives could be lost before it does. Lin, and others who are taking action, could be the reason people are saved in the weeks and months to come.
