Draymond Green was part of the Warriors team that became famous in 2014. Since making a “Cinderalla” run that postseason, they have become one of the league’s most-followed teams.
Draymond, for better or worse, is a part of that.
As he and his team have dominated the West, he has been extremely outspoken in his methods as a trash-talker and villain. But if you ask Charles Barkley, the 3x All-Star is fooling himself.

Green has been in the national spotlight as the heart and soul of the Warriors. Love him or hate him, he usually makes his voice heard.
Barkley’s point seems to be that Draymond’s supposed “stardom” is more of a product of Steph and Klay than anything the defensive-minded big man has ever done himself. We are seeing what he looks like without his two backcourt partners this season.
But, to Green’s point, he has significant value to the Warriors. He was there before Durant was and helped instill a culture for their defense.
