Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is having a terrific season on the court, leading the Celtics to be one of the best teams in the league, with the young player averaging 22.5 points and seven rebounds a game, playing in his first-ever NBA All-Star game in his third season in the league.
However, things haven’t been as good for Jayson off the court lately. He just got a new tattoo and his recent body art has raised a lot of eyebrows due to a little but very important detail.
Tatum meant to have the phrase “God’s Will” tattooed across his back, and he shared a photo of the new ink on his Snapchat.
It was a huge piece, but there was a problem with it: the tattoo artist left off the apostrophe, so the tattoo simply reads: “Gods will,” which many pointed out, changes the meaning of the phrase entirely. As expected, social media did its thing, with fans throwing any kind of comments regarding the tattoo.

The piece also featured the Bible scripture ‘Proverbs 3:5-6’ on it. Still, the lack of apostrophe changes the meaning of the phrase “Gods will”. It wasn’t too big not to notice it.
The Proverbs verse referenced in the tattoo says the following: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Jayson still has to respond to this mistake, but one imagines it won’t take much to fix the tattoo for the artist.
