The basketball legacy of Dwyane Wade will be set in stone after he gets inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.

The Miami Heat legend received a wonderful tribute video from the Miami Heat featuring testimonials from Wade’s greatest colleagues. From his championships teammates in LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal to his championship coaches, Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra, everyone who played a role in Wade’s success was featured.

Wade had an emotional reaction to the video on X.

“All the feels.”

The video is a must-watch for any NBA fan in the world, especially the ones that saw Wade dominate throughout his 16-year NBA career.

Wade retired after the 2018-19 season and will be inducted alongside career rival Dirk Nowitzki. Both players won one championship over the other and will have their careers forever intertwined as a result.

Dwyane Wade Is One Of The Greatest Shooting Guards Ever

Everyone knows that Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are the two greatest shooting guards the game has ever seen. But when we talk about who would be third behind them, Wade is often a popular choice.

Wade averaged 22.0 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.7 rebounds for his career and won three championships, one Finals MVP, one scoring title, made 13 All-Star Games, eight All-NBA Teams, and three All-Defensive Teams. While he never won MVP like Allen Iverson or James Harden, his proven championship resume as the leading star as well as a co-star, makes his case strong.

Injuries slowed Wade down dramatically, with his prime being cut short by the end of the Miami Heat big three in 2014. Regardless, what he achieved when he was on top makes his Hall of Fame case undeniable.
