• Russell Westbrook is having a blast this summer

• He was seen with his wife at the highly-coveted ‘Eras Tour’ by artist Taylor Swift

• Fans were glad to see Russ enjoying himself

The 2023 offseason has allowed many players to decompress from a hectic 2022-23 season. Russell Westbrook is using this summer to get rid of two years of a bad situation with the Lakers.

Regardless of what happened in the past, Westbrook is maximizing the present. He was seen with his wife, Nina Westbrook, at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ and was clearly having a blast. Fans were overjoyed to see Russ have fun.

Haters always find a way of showing up, as evidenced by this fan making a false equivalency.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this represents his entire NBA career.

Westbrook re-signed with the Los Angeles Clippers this summer after a rough season-and-a-half with the Lakers. Westbrook joined the Clippers on the buyout market and admirably tried carrying the injured roster in the playoffs.

Russ averaged 23.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game in their 4-1 loss to the Phoenix Suns in the first round.

Russell Westbrook Hoping To Prove His Doubters Wrong

Westbrook has accepted the reality of him not being a superstar anymore. He played his role for the Clippers and excelled with more opportunities in the playoffs. He’s also extremely durable, which gives the Clippers a reliable option when most of their roster inevitably has their injury spells.

Even with the potential acquisition of James Harden, Russ can thrive in LA. Harden will likely mean Russ comes off the bench, but he’s done well in that role before. It will also give him more of a chance to showcase his individual flair and ensure teams that LAC face will be under constant pressure.
