Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant were the other players with a 96 rating, and all of these stars will be tied second with Nikola Jokic, who has the highest overall rating with 98.
That said, the NBA 2K24 team will continue to update ratings throughout the season, and that would mean James will have an ascending run or a dip, depending on how his season progresses.
