The NBA 2K franchise has seemingly been around forever at this point and it has its fair share of critics and fans.

One of the lesser talked about, but hilarious aspects of the game have always been the tweets that are shown in it. The injury reports, in particular, generally tend to have some twist to them, and a fan shared one of the wilder ones that we have seen.

“Jimmy Butler (framed for murder of wife by one-armed man) expects to play against Jazz.”

Fans reacted to this wild report.

One said loved these as they made it seem like it was a real broadcast.

One fan recounted an instance when it showed that Kristaps Porzingis was out for a month due to a Netflix-related injury.

A fan found it hilarious that it states “expects to play”.

One hilariously stated the Bulls were covering it up with the sore ankle report.

Some fans stated that the game still shows wild tweets, but they’ve been tempered down a bit.

“Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (helping sick grandma travel through space and time) expects to play against Pelicans.”

“Jayson Tatum (reorganizing bookshelf by authors’ astrological signs) is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.”

“Clint Capela (hurt fingernails trying to open an ‘almost closed’ pistachio) set to return against the Mavericks.”

It is understandable that they made it a bit less insane nowadays because people do get offended very easily. They are still quite funny, and it was a great idea on 2K’s part to add it to the game.

NBA 2K24 is set to release on the 8th of September later this year, and the cover star is going to be Kobe Bryant. Kobe was the cover star for the Legends edition of NBA 2K21 but is the main one for 2024. This 25th installment of the game will also have crossplay between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S enabled for the first time ever.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
