By the looks of it, Michael Malone is not yet done celebrating the Denver Nuggets‘ maiden NBA championship win.
A week after Denver’swin over the Miami Heat, Malone got himself a tattoo of the Nuggets’ original logo, Maxie the Miner, lifting the NBA championship trophy.

Malone’s tattoo explains the struggles he went through before achieving success. He spent his first eight years as an assistant in the high school ball ranks before joining the New York Knicks as an assistant. Later he served the same roles with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Golden State Warriors.
His first head coaching stint with the Sacramento Kings was short-lived after he was fired after two seasons. He later landed in Denver, and after a challenging three seasons, he finally hoisted the silverware.
Michael Malone Is Ready To Win Another Championship With The Denver Nuggets
Even in the midst of a champagne and beer-filled celebration during the Nuggets victory parade, Malone had his sights set on another championship with the franchise.
“I’ve got a crazy idea man. I am a little crazy and a little emotional, but let’s do this shit again. Let’s do this again. I want to be on another float, I want to come down the f***ing parade, sorry for my language. Excuse me. I want to experience this again because this city, this franchise, these fans, they deserve that. So, let’s go Nuggets, I love you guys, and let’s go celebrate.”
The Nuggets are certainly legitimate title contenders. With Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in their primes, and a talented young roster, Malone will have another shot at winning the title. But it remains to be seen if Denver can indeed defend their title.
