Donald Sterling was the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers from 1981 to 2014. Sterling was removed from ownership due to off-court controversies.

Keeping that in mind, fans are always keen to learn stories about Sterling from players. Shaun Livingston, who played three seasons for the Clippers, recently shared a weird Donald Sterling story during an appearance on the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast.

“I wasn’t invited to the white parties, might’ve been too young,” Livingston said. “But no it was definitely different. It was something different going on there. I remember being in the locker room and just him always back there. One time it’s mugs in the locker room, people going back and forth to the shower and he was just lingering around back there. Man, it was weird.”

Matt Barnes claimed what Sterling was doing can be labeled as c*ck watching. Now, that’s one way to explain the situation.

As for Livingston, he averaged 7.4 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 4.8 APG for the Clippers in three seasons. But at just 21 years old and during the third season of his career, Livingston suffered a devastating knee injury. It derailed his career and he was never the same player after it.

Donald Sterling’s Ex-Mistress Shared A Story About The Former Clippers Owner

It’s one thing to fail as an NBA owner, which Donald Sterling certainly did; it’s an entirely different to be a racist.

Sterling’s ex-mistress V. Stiviano revealed Sterling’s racist remarks regarding black people in a recording. He was banned by the NBA Commissioner from the league for life with an additional $2.5 million fine.

On top of that, Sterling was forced to sell the Clippers for $2 billion to Steve Ballmer. To be completely honest, it’s hard to feel sympathy for a person like Sterling. He himself dug the hole of his eventual doom.
