The Miami Heat just pulled off an incredible Game 2 win on the road in the NBA Finals. The Nuggets enjoyed big leads throughout the game, but the Heat came back and stole the game 111-108 before the series heads back to Miami.
This was the Heat’s 7th win this postseason with a 10-point or larger comeback. This underdog group is unlike any other in NBA history, and Jimmy Butler revealed what makes the Heat so special.
“At the end of the day, that’s what we fall back on. Make or miss shots. We’re gonna be who we are because we’re not worried about anyone else. That’s how it’s been all year long and that’s not gonna change. That’s what I think it is, it is the ‘I don’t give a damn’ factor.”

Butler had a tough showing for a second consecutive game but came up with some big shots in the fourth quarter. He ended the game with 21 points and 9 assists, as the Heat rode the hot hands of Gabe Vincent and Bam Adebayo throughout the game as well. Nikola Jokic scoring 41 points with 11 rebounds, ended up not affecting the Heat.
The Heat Are Proving Doubters Wrong Again
The series is just 1-1 but many had expected Denver to take control of both home games. The Heat came into this game as an underdog after their loss in a blowout Game 1, so fans are excited to see what happens when the series is back in Miami for Games 3 and 4.
This was the Nuggets’ first loss at home in this playoff run, showing this Heat team is a formidable challenge. With Tyler Herro possibly inching closer to a return, the Heat are about to get some offensive assistance to try and become the first eighth seed to win the NBA title.
