Holcomb admits this is hard to talk about since Ja has both his parents in his life, yet things aren’t going that well for him. He added that the people around Ja aren’t helping him in any way, and instead of encouraging him to do bad things, they should be the first to stop him and talk some sense into the player.
Moreover, he said that Ja’s mom’s decisions have also played a role in this, making a big claim about it.
“Why would your mama send you up to the mall over a disagreement over a shoe?” He asked.
Another host claimed that this could be a result of resentment from Morant’s mother, explaining that sometimes, parents are jealous of their kids’ success.
This is a serious accusation against Morant’s mother, who hasn’t been under the public light like his father, Tee Morant. Still, both parents are getting criticized for letting Ja get in so much trouble recently.
Morant has been suspended twice by the Memphis Grizzlies for flashing guns on Instagram Live. He’s now waiting for the league to make a decision on his future, but the player is already taking free time from all the NBA pressure.
