Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks were stunned by the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2023 playoffs.

The number one seed in the Eastern Conference was dominated by the brilliance of Jimmy Butler. After getting eliminated from the postseason, Giannis recently revealed his new ‘rookie’ haircut.

NBA fans trolled Giannis Antetokounmpo’s new haircut. Many believe that Jimmy Butler’s effect was the reason that the Greek Freak shaved off his hair.

“Jimmy Butler effect,” a fan said.

“MVP season incoming. Every player that’s ever gotten a buzz cut has instantly improved. Tell me I’m wrong,” another fan said.

“The Miami Heat broke this man,” a fan shared the Heat’s impact on Giannis.

“He had to change his appearance after choking in the playoffs and getting his coach fired,” a fan furiously wrote.

“Hopefully, he gets his rookie jump shot too,” another fan trolled Giannis.

“We’ll never look at him the same next season,” a fan announced.

“Butler ended this man,” another fan said.

There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the NBA. But the version of Giannis that fans saw in the playoffs was far from the one that they saw in the regular season.

As a result, the Bucks were eliminated from the postseason in just five games and will have to make some major changes prior to the new season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Doesn’t Believe The 2022-23 NBA Season Was A Failure For The Bucks

For a first seed to be eliminated in the opening round of the playoffs is certainly rare to see. Keeping that in mind, it was obvious that the Bucks’ 2022-23 NBA season was a failure.

But Antetokounmpo shocked everyone when he went off on a reporter who claimed the same. Giannis explained why there’s no failure in sports.

“Oh, my God. You asked me the same question last year, Eric. Do you get a promotion every year on your job? No, right? So every year when you work, it’s a failure? No. Every year you work towards a goal, which is to get a promotion and take care of your family… It’s not a failure, there are steps to success… Michael Jordan played 15 years and won six championships. The other nine years were a failure? That’s what you’re telling me? Exactly, so why ask me that question? It’s the wrong question.

“There’s no failure in sports. There are good days and bad days, some days you’re able to be successful, and some days you’re not. Some days it’s your turn, some days, it’s not your turn. That’s what sports is about, you don’t always win. This year, somebody else is going to win, simple as that… 50 years from 1971 to 2021, when we didn’t win a championship, it was 50 years of failure? No, it was not. It was steps to it. We were able to win one, hopefully, we can win another one. I am sorry, I didn’t mean to get personal.”

Giannis’ ideology has been slammed by many over the last few days. The Bucks definitely had an underwhelming postseason after finishing the first seed in the Eastern Conference.

Otherwise, why else would they fire head coach Mike Budenholzer? With that being said, the Bucks are currently searching for a new head coach to make sure the disastrous 2022-23 NBA season is not repeated.
