Watching the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors square off in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs comes at a hefty price, quite literally.

At the time of writing, the series is the most expensive NBA playoff ticket for a non-finals series, according to TickPick, with the average purchase price for the series coming up to a jaw-dropping $726. The get-in price for Games 1 through 7 is reportedly $446.

Per a ClutchPoints report, Game 6 is currently set at a get-in price of $577. The site also added that the Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks series could break the record if it goes to Game 7, making it the most expensive NBA Playoff ticket.

It does make sense why fans wouldn’t mind breaking the bank to pay such moolah for a playoff game. James vs. Curry is a visual treat, and the Lakers vs. Warriors meeting in the playoffs for the first time in 32 years makes for a spectacle in itself.

Skip Bayless Picks LeBron James To Win The Second Round Skirmish Against Stephen Curry And The Warriors

The ticket prices aren’t the only stunning bit of news this week. Earlier, NBA analyst Skip Bayless shockingly picked LeBron James to win the series over Stephen Curry.

“Bring on Steph vs LeBron. I’m going with … LeBron,” he tweeted after the Warriors pulled off a stunning Game 7 win over the Sacramento Kings to complete a 4-3 series win.

On the odds front, Preliminary odds have projected the Warriors as the slight -155 favorites over LA. But the latter has been a different unit since the trade deadline. The Lakers won the regular season series over the Warriors 3-1 and then mauled the Grizzlies 4-2 in the first round of the playoffs.

All said this series will surely be one humdinger, and it shouldn’t be a surprise if a Game 7 is on the cards. Game 1 will unfold at the Chase Center on Tuesday.
