Besides calling James ‘old,’ Brooks also insisted that he only respects opponents who drop 40 points on his head. Naturally, after LeBron James finished with 22 points and 20 rebounds on the night, Shaquille O’Neal made sure to call out Brooks.

But, thanks partly to injuries, the Lakers have taken complete control in the matchup and now stand as the favorites to move on and advance to the second round for a matchup against the Kings or Warriors.

Injuries have been a common theme in the postseason this year, and nobody would be surprised to see the Lakers get ravaged by injuries again, considering their age and history of such issues.
