The 2022-23 NBA regular season provided some terrific action and historic moments that will litter the history books.

After an incredible regular season wrapped up. Fans were quick to discuss their favorite moments from another season of top-tier basketball.

LeBron breaking the all-time scoring record wasn’t far behind.

LeBron breaking the record for sure

The incredible trade deadline was also well-remembered by fans.

Trade deadline. Definitely the craziest in last decade pic.twitter.com/qEfAvIwARs

Donovan Mitchell’s incredible debut campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers received love as well.

Donovan Mitchell drops 71 points and sets tons of Cleveland Cavalier records in just one season and isn’t even on here. Was second best in the allstar game, had the most 40 point games to close the year, and nothing… most disrespected superstar in the history of the sport 💯

Luka Doncic’s incredible 60-21-10 night against the New York Knicks made for arguably the best single performance of the season.

Shannon Sharpe’s courtside altercation with the Memphis Grizzlies couldn’t be forgotten either.

These moments are just a few in a storm of fantastic ones in a season that has flown by. Hopefully, we see more legendary moments in the playoffs.

Was This A Good Regular Season?

Keeping fans invested in the regular season is almost impossible nowadays. Most players don’t end up playing through the 82 games. Unless you’re Mikal Bridges and playing 83 games, it will be hard to consistently stay available through the season in this modern era of load management from every team.

We saw one of the highest-scoring seasons in recent history with stars putting in incredible performances night after night. We also saw the most compelling playoff race in years as the Western Conference had must-watch games every day since February due to the implications on standings.

Given the quality of the shortened 2020-21 season and even last season, which had fewer storylines to flow throughout the year, the 22-23 season was objectively a great season for fans to follow and enjoy. The playoffs look hard to predict so a lot more excitement may be coming our way.
