Draymond Green has always been quite the fiery character on the court, and it has led to him racking up 16 technical fouls this season.

Draymond had failed to hit a field goal in his first seven games in the NBA, so it is understandable that he reacted in that manner. It would have been a big relief to him to finally connect on a shot in the NBA, but the officials felt he did a bit too much there.
He would go on to hit another shot and finished the night with 5 points, 1 rebound, and 1 block as the Golden State Warriors beat the Atlanta Hawks 92-88. As the season went on, he started to get a bigger role on the team, and once Steve Kerr took over as head coach in 2014, he became a full-time starter.

Green has already been suspended for a game this season after picking up 16 technical fouls, and he nearly found himself in trouble a few days before that. With the Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks being tied at 111 in the closing stages of their game on the 11th of March, Draymond attempted a three but it didn’t go in.
The Warriors would go on to win in overtime, and after the game, Draymond hilariously stated that missing the shot saved him from a $50,000 fine. If that had gone in, Draymond was planning the infamous big balls celebration, and the NBA certainly would have fined him for it. Despite running into trouble so many times over the years, Green certainly doesn’t feel the need to change how he goes about on the court.
