The energy around the Los Angeles Lakers roster had been bad for almost a year and a half. Winning leads to good vibes, and the Lakers had been disappointing for a while, so it was no surprise.

However, the trade deadline moves are paying off, and D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley have been big in helping Anthony Davis as they win games. Even LeBron James is excited on the sidelines, and the team’s spirits seem high.

Following their impressive and crucial win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Dennis Schroder posted on Instagram highlighting various pictures of the Lakers having fun during the game. LeBron James celebrating from the bench was one of the first ones. And his Lakers’ teammates showed their strong bond in the comments.

D’Angelo Russell commented in a way that captures the mood around the team right now, writing, “Immaculate vibes.”

Austin Reaves was in the picture celebrating with LeBron James, and he said, “Might be picture of the year.”

Wenyen Gabriel and Troy Brown Jr. also got in on the action, writing, “Tufff”, and “Freeze” respectively, in the comments.

The Los Angeles Lakers made it rain against the Pelicans, draining three-pointers and clinching an excellent win against a team they are directly competing against for a playoff spot. The team is on the up, and the Western Conference is wide open, so their enthusiasm could be because they can easily see a path forward to great success at the business end of this season.

What Games Are Coming Up Next For The Los Angeles Lakers?

The Los Angeles Lakers have won 4 out of their last 5 games, and they will want to continue this winning streak even without LeBron James. Their next game is against the Houston Rockets, and it should be an easy win for the Lakers, considering how bad the Rockets are.

There is a crucial clash on the cards after that, they will face the Dallas Mavericks, who have the same record as them. The Orlando Magic will be another winnable game following that before more Western Conference clashes against the Phoenix Suns, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will determine the Lakers’ fate this season. If they can win 4 out of their next 5 as well, the Lakers will be cooking with grease and likely in the mix for the coveted 6th seed.
