Following the NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers have certainly bolstered their roster. They have added crucial new pieces that have been helping the team win games consistently.
But that doesn’t mean the Lakers are done recruiting. If anything, they are just getting started, and there are rumors about the Lakers eyeing Philadelphia 76ers superstar James Harden. It was recently reported that Harden might leave the team this summer.
“They’re looking for a certain thing in LA,” Keyshawn Johnson said. “LeBron is looking for a certain thing in LA. And this thing might be a James Harden or a Kyrie Irving.”
Johnson continued by explaining why James Harden joining the Los Angeles Lakers would make sense.
“Could Harden wind up looking out West where he’s from? Could that be an opportunity for him? I mean, he is a Southern California guy,” Johnson said. “Does he fit with a LeBron James? I mean, he could certainly run the offense. He’s certainly a shooter. What does LeBron always like to have around him? Shooters. So, I mean, I wouldn’t shy away from it.”

As of now, this is nothing but Johnson’s opinion about what LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers want. He did take the name of Kyrie Irving as well, who is also linked with the Lakers.
Is James Harden Unhappy With The Philadelphia 76ers?
James Harden may no longer be the MVP-caliber player he once was, but he is still one of the best players in his position. This season, with the 76ers, Harden has been playing the role of Robin to Joel Embiid’s Batman, and it has been working well for him, at least for now.
But there are rumors that Harden may end up joining the Houston Rockets in the summer.
If those rumors are even one percent true, it would mean that Harden is unhappy in Philadelphia. If that’s the case, he would benefit more by joining the Lakers instead of the Rockets.
