Giannis Antetokounmpo is the most dominant force in the game today, and there’s no doubt that he is a supreme talent. He has accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish as a player, and at this point, all he needs to do to improve his legacy is continue winning championships.

Recently, Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo praised Giannis Antetokounmpo for his ability, suggesting that his “2K-ish” ability puts him in the same conversations as greats like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant.

“Just very 2K-ish, it looks very unreal,” claimed Adebayo. “I feel like that’s the thing that put Jordan over the top. You know, that’s what put Kobe in that, and then Bron. It’s like they had this special gift they only had. And I feel like the fact that he can two-step through four people and dunk the basketball is like- people think it’s like boring now, but like, that is really, like, different.”

There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a very unique player, and he has worked hard to make the most out of his raw talent. It is somewhat refreshing to see a superstar player play physical bully ball in an era where most teams focus on perimeter shooting, and we’ll see if Antetokounmpo can achieve as much as those greats in the future. He is viewed as the best player in the world by a number of his peers right now.

As of right now, Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.2 PPG, 12.0 RPG, and 5.4 APG for the Milwaukee Bucks while shooting 53.8% from the field. The Milwaukee Bucks are on top of the Eastern Conference, and there is no doubt that Antetokounmpo is an MVP candidate this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Consistently Faces Double Teams

Due to his insane dominance, Giannis Antetokounmpo often commands a lot of attention on the basketball court. Previously he claimed that there is “no 1-on-1” for him, adding that he’s playing against “two guys” or more at a time.

“1-on-1? Come on, man. You got to build a wall man”, said Antetokounmpo. “Got to build a wall to stop me. They created the Giannis wall, Boston does it now, Chicago tried to do it, Miami did it… There’s no 1-on-1 in my world. There’s me playing against two guys, three guys, four guys. So, 1-on-1 isn’t my thing. It’s impossible.”

Giannis Antetokoumpo is right in saying that teams have to “build a wall” and load up on him to stop him. He is an insane finisher in the paint, and teams need athletic defenders with length to even attempt to bother him.

The Milwaukee Bucks are a team that has a legitimate chance of winning a championship this year, and it’ll be interesting to see if they will be able to get out of a tough Eastern Conference. With Giannis Antetokounmpo, they will have a chance to beat anyone in the league in a playoff series, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
