The Los Angeles Lakers have been a poor team for the majority of the season, but that may no longer be the case after recent events. Fans have long been clamoring for the team to make a win-now trade, and it seems as though they got their wish.

It was recently reported that D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Jarred Vanderbilt would be headed to the Los Angeles Lakers in a three-team deal. There is no doubt that this was a huge trade for the Lakers, and it drew a lot of reaction from fans.

Lakers looking tough

LeBron James just broke the all-time scoring record and his team got exponentially better in the span of less 24 hours.

Teams lining up to get fleeced by the Lakers to help the self-proclaimed greatest of all-time struggle to make the playoffs:

Lakers still aren’t making the playoffs!

At least they got rid of russ let’s gooo

Lakers won

Who cares Pelicans or Grizzlies coming out of the west

Danny Ainge trading for Russel Westbrook so the team stops winning and can get Wemby.

How did they get all that for one pick?

Wolves and Jazz gm’s have to be undercover agents for the Lakers

Rob Pelinka THANK YOU

Ppl can rip lakers all they want but they got 100% better with this trade. Russell is a solid player for sure. Beasley is the shooter lebron needed and Vanderbilt is no slouch off the bench

utah should just buy russ out so the clippers who are need if a pg can sign him and russ doesn’t even have to move

D’Lo is really costing the Lakers two first round picks. One to draft him and one to reacquire him.

There is no doubt that this trade makes the Los Angeles Lakers a much better team. There were a lot of fans that were shocked that the Lakers managed to improve so much for the cost of one first-round pick, and hopefully, we see them do well in the coming weeks and make the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers Clearly Decided To Maximize LeBron James

Previously, Rob Pelinka claimed that the Los Angeles Lakers would move one or both of their picks if a trade made the team a championship contender. It is clear that he believes this is the right move.

The Los Angeles Lakers got three legitimate rotation players from this deal, and it is obvious that they are now a solid team in a wide open Western Conference. We will see how far LeBron James leads them this year, and they definitely have the potential to get far.
