Paul George earned eternal mockery for his failure in that series, and the Clippers even fired their Head Coach, Doc Rivers. Morris has since spoken about the series almost 3 years later, saying that the biggest issue for the Clippers was the Bubble environment itself.
“We only lost that s— because we were in the bubble,” Marcus Morris Sr. says. “[If] we weren’t in the bubble, we’d beat the s— out of them. Put that on the record. … Guys are out of their comfort zone. Kudos to Denver.”
