Kevin Durant is inspired for this season, carrying the Brooklyn Nets to a record far better than anyone had anticipated for them. If people were confused about the Nets before the season due to the uncertainty with KD’s trade request, they definitely would’ve panicked when the team started off slow and fired Steve Nash.

Since hiring Jacque Vaughn and bringing Kyrie Irving back from suspension, the Nets have arguably been the best team in the NBA. They are currently unstoppable and dominated the San Antonio Spurs to extend their win streak to 12 games. However, fans were talking about Durant for a different reason.

Prior to the Spurs game, a picture of KD’s hairline being caught on the broadcast went viral. Fans are begging KD to shave it off and embrace being bald, similar to what fans say about LeBron James.

“While I was playing offline madden in 2018, I told Savanah that in fo-5 years KD is gonna look like 2010 bron. Don’t know why I said it, I just gotta feeling.” pic.twitter.com/DRHAri8SLl

KD might be suffering from a skin/scalp condition. Don’t be quick to judge him or his hair.

The hair on the top of basketball players’ heads will never make a difference to the game unless it’s player-specific. You look good, you feel good, and multi-millionaire NBA players have more solutions at their disposal to combat hair loss than the average Joe that’s better off cutting their hair. As long as KD can, he will try and have his head of hair.

Is Kevin Durant Looking To Win MVP This Season?

The success that the Nets are having has naturally elevated Durant into the conversation for MVP. However, it won’t be easy for him to secure it given the competition in the league for that award right now.

Durant is also far too old to set goals in the regular season, so the man will focus on getting to the playoffs and winning the MVP award that says Finals before it. The Nets haven’t looked this good since they traded for James Harden in 2021. Hopefully, injuries don’t cause the team to fall apart this year. If they’re healthy, they have as good a shot as any team in the league.
