Shaquille O’Neal Says His Team With LeBron James And Kobe Bryant Would Sweep Michael Jordan’s Team In A 3-On-3 Game

Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant players in NBA history, and you can make an argument that at his peak, he was the single most dominant one ever. That peak was with the Los Angeles Lakers as he led the team to a historic three-peat and along with him at the time was another one of the greats in Kobe Bryant.

Kobe wasn’t the only all-time great that Shaq played with, of course, as he also briefly teamed up with LeBron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers towards the end of his legendary career. Considering all that he ended up achieving, O’Neal has supreme self-confidence in his abilities and made the bold claim that a team of himself, Kobe, and LeBron would sweep a team of Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Larry Bird.

NBA fans reacted to O’Neal’s claim, and they were split on who would come out on top.

“You LeBron and Kobe hands down”

“Bottom three no matter the rules”

“Pretty even except Kobe and Bird. There is no way Bird could D #24”

“MJ goat. But He wont win if the opponent is shaq lbj and kobe.”

“Bottom gonna win 4-3 in a 7 game series”

“Bottom. Hakeem already took Shaq to school. Mike will break LeBron down. Kobe and Bird cancel each other out”

“LeBron facilitating to Kobe and Shaq? It’s a wrap. “

“Boy stop!! Jordan and Dream? Plus bird. Who stopping Jordan? Who stopping Bird? LeBron limited cause you in the paint. I like Jordan in 6 as usual”

“If all in their prime top 3”

“Bottom. Hakeem already took Shaq to school. Mike will break LeBron down. Kobe and Bird cancel each other out”

“Idk bout a sweep but definitely 4-1 top”

“In their prime Jordan Bird & hakeem are smoking you Unc. Im sorry”

“Team 1 any day”

“All in their prime, I’ll take the bottom team, people dont understand how scary prime Larry bird was”

“Shaq Kobe LeBron all day everyday”

“Seen what Hakeem the dream did to Shaq in the finals and Jordan and Larry legend no one shoots like them 2 game over”

“All in their prime Shaq would destroy Dream, MJ and Bean cancel each other out in my book and I’m taking Bron over Larry too “

“Sorry Shaq, love ya buddy but peak olajuwan, jordan and 89-90 Larry bird would win”

“Top lol this too easy shaq ‍♂️”

“Since you put LeBron on your team I’ll take Jordan”

We don’t see it being a sweep, as Shaq says because the bottom three are just that good. As some fans pointed out, Hakeem did sweep O’Neal in the 1995 NBA Finals, but that, of course, wasn’t Shaq at his peak. This would be a fascinating matchup, and it is a pity we’ll never get to see it.

O’Neal also recently shared Fadeaway World’s all-time GOAT pyramid for the Los Angeles Lakers on Instagram and got quite a huge reaction, with over 320,000 likes and over 8,000 comments.

Shaquille O’Neal Revealed His Two Picks For The GOAT Title

Draymond Green recently came out and revealed his list of the five greatest players of all time, with LeBron at the top and Jordan at second, which raised some eyebrows. O’Neal stated that everyone is entitled to their opinion but added that for him, Jordan and Julius Erving would be vying for the top spot.

MJ is widely regarded as the GOAT, so it isn’t surprising to see Shaq pick him, even though he did say here that he would sweep Jordan’s team. Dr. J is a bit of a surprise, though, as not many tend to rank him that highly but almost everyone who saw him play holds him in the highest regard.
